Rowing is a challenge in Lynmouth given the tides and ground sea (not to mention the downtime that Covid enforced on us) but we try to get our Rowing Boats out as much as possible.
Hopefully there will be a lot more rowing going on in 2023. We are looking at how we can make mobilising crews easier and approving more members to Cox the Giglets so come and join us if you fancy some healthy exercise on the water.
The Giglets are a good introduction to Rowing and several of our members have progressed to rowing full size Gig Boats for our great friends at Porlock Weir Pilot Gig Club.
We are also looking at doing some Adventure Rows this year which will give the Giglets a day out elsewhere and a very memorable day for those who get to row them.
